Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry (FVD)

The Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry (FVD) serves to create a forum for advancing the knowledge, education, and awareness of veterinary dentistry among veterinarians, technicians, students, and the public. Membership in the FVD is open to any veterinarian, dentist, hygienist, technician/nurse, or individual with an interest in veterinary dentistry. The FVD organizes together with the AVDC the annual Veterinary Dental Forum (VDF), which is the largest continuing education conference in VDOS in North America.

European Veterinary Dental Society (EVDS)

The European Veterinary Dental Society (EVDS) is a non-profit educational organization whose aims are to educate and train European veterinarians and technicians in animal dentistry and promote clinical dental research, which will benefit animals and people. The EVDS organizes together with the EVDC the annual European Veterinary Dental Forum (EVDF), which is the largest continuing education conference in VDOS in Europe.

Peter Emily International Veterinary Dental Foundation (PEIVDF)

​The Peter Emily International Veterinary Dental Foundation (PEIVDF) is a public charitable foundation created by Dr. Peter Emily, DDS, Hon. AVDC, AVD, who donated the initial funds which formed the foundation. Its mission is to provide life-improving advanced veterinary dental and oral care and treatment to exotic animals located in captive animal facilities and animal sanctuaries, which are underfunded/understaffed from a veterinary perspective. This mission also provides opportunity for veterinary dental education through hands-on learning opportunities.
